I mean, the name suggests something basic near the airport, but this boutique property on Avenue des Trois Martyrs has way more character than you’d expect. Walking in, there’s this relaxed elegance that feels authentically Congolese rather than trying to copy some international chain.

Location & Getting Around

The location in Brazzaville is actually pretty smart if you think about it. You’re close enough to the airport that transfers aren’t a hassle, but you’re still in the city proper with easy access to the Congo River waterfront. I found myself walking to nearby local spots for dinner — there’s this great street food scene just a few blocks away that most hotel guests probably miss. The taxi drivers all know the place, which honestly makes getting around so much easier.

The Room Experience

My room had this interesting mix of modern amenities and local touches that worked well together. The air conditioning is reliable (crucial in this climate), and the bed was comfortable enough that I actually slept through the night despite the time zone change. What I appreciated most was the attention to detail — good lighting for reading, enough outlets for devices, and a bathroom that felt thoughtfully designed rather than just functional.

Dining & Social Spaces

The hotel’s restaurant serves a solid mix of Congolese and international dishes, though I’d recommend venturing out for dinner at least once. Breakfast was surprisingly good — fresh fruit, decent coffee, and they actually know how to cook eggs properly. The common areas have this laid-back vibe where you end up chatting with other travelers, which doesn’t always happen at hotels. There’s also secure parking if you’re brave enough to rent a car in Brazzaville.

It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re experiencing the real Brazzaville rather than being sheltered from it.   The hotel is well located, approximately 5 minutes away from the airport, in a safe area. The room was very spacious, but lacked basic items like a water kettle for tea. The wifi connection was slightly unstable but I was told it was a general problem with the server. The receptionists were all so helpful and polite. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will be coming back.
