The taxi drivers all knew exactly where it was, which sounds small but trust me, it matters.

My room was bigger than I expected — not huge, but thoughtfully laid out with decent storage space and a work desk that actually worked for my laptop. The air conditioning was solid (crucial in this climate), and the Wi-Fi held up even during video calls. The bathroom was properly modern with good water pressure, though I mean, the shower could’ve been a bit bigger. What impressed me most was how quiet everything was — thick walls and good windows make a real difference when you’re trying to sleep.

The hotel restaurant serves a mix of Congolese dishes and international options, and honestly, their fish preparations are really well done. Breakfast was more extensive than I figured it would be — fresh fruit, decent coffee, and they actually had proper eggs benedict which caught me off guard. There’s secure parking on-site, which you definitely want in Brazzaville, and the staff helped arrange a reliable driver for my business meetings around town.
