Brazza Hôtel Overview

First Impressions

When I first pulled up to Brazza Hôtel on Rue Charles Foucault, I’ll be honest — it’s not the kind of place that screams luxury from the street. This three-star property has more of a straightforward, business-traveler vibe going on. But you know what? Sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re navigating Brazzaville, especially if you want something reliable without the fuss.

The Neighborhood Reality

The location actually works pretty well if you know the city. You’re in a quieter residential area, which means you won’t be dealing with the chaos of downtown traffic constantly. I mean, Brazzaville can get pretty hectic, so having a bit of distance while still being accessible is honestly refreshing. The street itself is relatively calm, and you’ll find a few local spots within walking distance if you’re up for exploring.

Room Experience

The room I stayed in was… functional. Look, I’m not going to pretend it’s Instagram-worthy, but everything worked as it should. The bed was comfortable enough after long days of meetings, and the AC actually kept up with the Congo heat — which, trust me, is no small feat. The bathroom was clean, though nothing fancy, and I appreciated having a decent shower with consistent water pressure.

Practical Considerations

Here’s where Brazza Hôtel sort of shines in its own understated way. The staff genuinely tries to be helpful, even when language barriers pop up. Parking isn’t really an issue here, which anyone who’s driven around Brazzaville will appreciate. The wifi works most of the time — not blazing fast, but reliable enough for staying connected. There’s a small restaurant on-site that serves decent local dishes, nothing revolutionary but solid comfort food.

Why Guests Choose It

With a 6.9 rating, this place sits right in that sweet spot of “gets the job done without breaking the bank.” It’s the kind of hotel where business travelers end up becoming regulars because it’s predictable in the best way possible. You won’t have any wow moments, but you also won’t have any nasty surprises. For Brazzaville, where reliable accommodations can sometimes be hit-or-miss, that consistency actually means something.

Reviews of Brazza Hôtel

  • Ok for the price, but not a place for everyone – Luis from France – March 1, 2026 (6/10)

The location in the city centre is great, very practical to walk around, with easy access to shops and restaurants.

What could be improved: The hotel is not in the best of shapes, quite shabby and not extremeley clean. The price reflects this and at the end it’s good value for money.

  • Pleasant – Kavira from Democratic Republic of the Congo – February 3, 2026 (6/10)

the location was perfect, the staff have to improve their profesionalism

What could be improved: Staff should be able to give assistance in case of requesting informations.

  • Great location and good value for money. – Assan from United States – January 14, 2026 (8/10)

    Location was excellent.

  • Good – Sedras from Canada – October 31, 2025 (7/10)

All workers were very nice to us.

What could be improved: The wifi were not stable, and the toilet paper not confortable.

  • Good. – Prabir from India – September 24, 2025 (7/10)

    Location.

  • Great stay – Dossou from Senegal – September 20, 2025 (9/10)

Clean, calm, confortable and good location.

  • Good – Destin from United Kingdom – September 9, 2025 (7/10)

Very central in the city Centre

What could be improved: Lack of appliances, iron, cattle.

  • Fantastic city centre location – recommended – Christopher from United Kingdom – September 5, 2025 (8/10)

Perfect city centre location, in easy walking distance of most places. Better priced than some competitor hotels nearby. Also, unlike other hotels, cleaning staff would only enter the room after check-out, not during the stay, which gave me peace of mind. Excellent shower cubicles – book your room to find out why!

What could be improved: The pricing via booking.com is a little intransparent. We were four colleagues and all paid different prices for our rooms/night. I didn't think that made sense, but the staff said this was due to using booking.com. I don't know enough to judge what was going on. Some venues nearby play very loud music at night (though this isn't something the hotel could change). We were left confused whether the hotel offers breakfast or not. We ended up not having breakfast there, still unsure whether it is a possibility.

  • Wonderful – Peter from Sweden – July 23, 2025 (9/10)

Superb location near the centre of things, friendly and helpful staff and comfortable room with a/c that really works, hot shower and good wi-fi.

What could be improved: More tv channels, like one or two not in French, would have been a nice extra bonus. Also more hangers in the closet, for clothes, and in the bathroom, for your toilet bag, would be brilliant but this is usually lacking in every hotel.

  • Very Good – Marco from Italy – July 7, 2025 (8/10)

Very spacious room. Clean and quiet

What could be improved: Restaurant near hotel not very good…
